Are we blind or Can we see ?

Good day all! I hope this finds everyone doing well this bright and beautiful day. I have been thinking and praying a lot today for God to continue to lead me where HE wants. For as many of you know, the job with the pre-school didn’t quite work out. I know and feel though that God has got bigger and greater things to come. I can say that some of the media has contacted me and helped to guide me to where I need to be. I feel like God is showing me….kind of like the story of how Jesus healed the blind man. Here is my question for the day….Are we blind or can we see?

When I say are we blind or can we see falls into the book of John chapter nine when Jesus heals the blind man. Sometimes in our lives we tend to ask God what He wants for us. What does He want in our lives? The fact is though that sometimes we don’t listen and try to do our own thing. This is where we become blind as we are trying to do it ourselves. We may rely on God and yes we may believe in Jesus but when it comes to having the faith, we tend to back track. I admit that I have truly done this; thinking I know exactly what it is that God wants for me. The thing is though that if God has other things in line for our lives, He will blind us to what it is we think He wants for us…..in other words, He will make it not go as WE think it should. He will allow something to occur to show that either we are meant for what we are doing or He allows for something to happen that gets us away from that position. The believing part of this is that we must believe and trust that what and where God wants us is His plan. In John 9lei: 35-38, Jesus and the man have this conversation after He learned the blind man’s people had thrown him out:

35- “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”

36- “Who is he?” the man asked, “Tell me so that I    may believe in him.”

37- Jesus said, “You have now seen him; in fact, he    is the one speaking with you.”

38- Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he      worshiped him.

I say this…if a man who had been blinded since birth, made to see by the hand of Christ and some mud, ousted by his people, and believed, then can’t we as God’s children believe that God will handle all things in our lives ? I have come to the conclusion that I don’t want to be continually blind; I want to see and thus I believe! I believe that God can and will take care of each and every one …..No All of my needs. He will put me into the position of a job that He wants and He will have me doing whatever is His will. The question that I have to you though is this……Are you going to stay continually blind or are you going to let Christ place the mud on your eyes so that you can see and believe ?

Lord willing and until tomorrow-

God Bless you all-

Marla
