Good day all! I hope this finds everyone doing well. I am sorry for running behind on the blog today but I had a few things here at home to do. Speaking of home, as you can imagine right now, it’s the topic of today’s blog. I want you to think about the house you are living in right…..each and every room within, the yard, your closet and wardrobe, mealtime at your house, and more. Is it truly not home sweet home? Well, yes for this earth it is but how about the heavenly home? Think about a friend who has everything and willing to give it all up to you. As you read the blog the question at the end to answer is this….the friend is willing to offer you a home sweet home….are you willing to accept all the He has to offer?

      Home sweet home; home is where the heart is. What sweet words they are and we have all heard them growing up. The fact of the matter is though the home that is being described here is that of the earthly home. For me however and all who know Christ, sees it as the home sweet home not just for the earthly home but for the heavenly home. Look at your house you are in right now…..bedrooms, bathroom or bathrooms, closets, a kitchen, a big yard, and more. Imagine now if you will a friend who has a mansion….one of which you have a room of your own, a big yard, plenty of clothes in the closet for you, and meal time you all gather at a huge table and everyone has their own seat with plenty of things to share. Can you imagine it! Well believe it because Jesus does have this and He is willing to truly share with any and all who have accepted Him. In the book of John chapter two we are told about this as Jesus is comforting his disciples. He tells them do not be troubled because they to believe in God and therefore they were to also believe in Him. He tells them:

             2- “My Father’s house has many rooms; if

                  that were not so, would I have told

                  you that I am going there to prepare a  

                  place for you?”

Wow can you imagine this from a friend? Well, Jesus is our friends not just in good times but in all times. He is there for us and when we need Him, He will send the Holy Spirit out to guide our footsteps and to know Jesus is one of the sweetest relationships could have in a friend. I was told one time that you needed no one relationship wise except for Jesus. Well, I am here to tell you this is very true. Jesus’s friendship is one that all don’t ever have to worry about letting you down. He is the friend who will give you all you need and He did give us all He had when He died on the cross. You ask, “Ok, how can I go to this mansion….some place I can call my Home sweet Home?” All you have to do in order to go there is give Jesus your heart. I will forewarn all…..it is NOT an easy road, BUT and hear me out on this! IT IS WORTH IT! You may encounter heart ache and frustration during time yes yet I will say this…..it will all be worth it in the end. For that friend who has given you all….He will be there no matter what and there will come a day that you and Jesus can walk into that heavenly mansion and say, its “Home sweet Home”.
