Good day all! I hope this finds everyone doing well this blessed day. It is such a beautiful day and God once again has allowed us to be alive. Like I said yesterday things have been very busy but I know that with God’s help I will once again overcome this. As you can maybe guess….yep, the topic for the day is that of being an overcomer.
How many of you have been placed in a situation that you ask God….am I going to make it through this? I am sure each and every one of us have had a situation like that. A relationship issue, finances, or anything that seems like it is going to be harder than normal. We feel like that we are being pushed to our limits and that there is not going to be anyway to overcoming the issue. The truth is this though…we can overcome it. The way to overcome any issue is with God and putting on the armor of God. You are probably asking how that will allow us to overcome these issues. We are clearly told in the book of Ephesians chapter six to literally put on that armor and move forward. It tells us to:
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
We have to be strong in God and stay in the fight till the final round. Instead of us letting go of our rope and giving in to what Satan wants us to we must hold tight and hold to God. When placing on the armor of God we can overcome any and all things. In order to be strong in our faith we must be strong; yes, we will go through many things and feel like we are alone but as long as we place God over the situation and let Him hold us and place the armor of God on fighting the issues that Satan throws at us, we can get through any and all things. Don’t quit…..don’t give in; put on the amour of God and fight the good fight for once we have fought the good fight for once we have completed it and finished the race will we then truly have won the prize.
Lord willing and until tomorrow-
God bless and keep you all
