The Great Commission......How excited are you ?
Greetings to you all! After much spiritual arguments and with friends and family stepping in lifting me up in prayer, God made me see that I needed to get a blog in for today. The more I prayed and thought about what to write, the more I finally decided on the topic of excitement and telling of the love of Christ. So while you are reading this, please thing of the excitement you carry and whether you are truly fulfilling the Great Commission.
In today's world we tend to become excited over many different things.....actors/actresses, musicians, the latest technology, but when it comes to being a Christian, the one thing I have truly noticed is how the excitement for all of that comes easily and boldly but when it comes to telling of our faith and of Christ and His love for us, we truly can not show that excitement. I admit that I am just as bad on this issue in that when it comes to certain actors ( or even in my case I am a wrestling fan and have one favorite) that I can talk about them a mile a minute yet when it comes to my faith,  I sometimes tend to choke and hold back. I will say that this blog and the book has truly helped me to be more forth coming and adamant about God and where I stand in my faith. I see many however who when it does come to them delivering the message of Christ, the become afraid and fearful. We however are told that we as the body of Christ have a major job market....The Great Commission.  When Christ left this world and returned after the resurrection where He met with the eleven disciples. Even though some did doubt (and we all know who that one was...:-) ), Jesus went to them in the book of Matthew 28 telling them :

18- "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19- Therefore go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing
them in the mane of the Father, Son, and of the Holy Spirit,
20- and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

So with this you see that Christ has given us each a job and granted it is the same job, BUT how excited are you to do it ? Does it make you get the warm fuzzy's to think that God specially hand picked you and gave you and opened opportunity to join His "stable" ( I mean after all, we are all His sheep) or do you maybe see it as you see your everyday job and just something you " have" to do; a job that you don't get excited? For me, I see it as blessing and I get excited to know that I am one of God's kids and have been selected and chose to be in His stable. For me, it gets me excited to go and tell everyone that Jesus Christ IS King. What is your choice ? Are you going to get excited or are you going to join the ranks to become a hermit and pull inward when it comes to talking about
your faith ?
Remember that if you are interested in having me come to speak to your church, school, group, or organization or if you want a copy of the book, all the information is on the front of this webpage. I am working on the second book  and its coming along OK. Just ask that you all continue to pray that it comes together like it needs to.
God Bless and Keep you all-
In Christ-
