God’s
day to you all once again. I hope your day will go well as it truly is God’s
day. Yes, you all are getting this early as I felt the need to go ahead and get
it done for not only is today His day but my family and I are spending time
together this evening. We always have family time together on Monday nights yet
we don’t always get to spend time together. The topic for today if you are
getting the idea is family. I want you to think about this question as you are
reading….why should we be a part of God’s big family portrait?
Family is a beautiful term and not one we hear
much of anymore because for many people, families no longer exist. I can truly
say however that there is one particular family that will never change and that
is the family of God. It is very hard for many people to imagine that a higher
power could love each and every one of us as God does. The fact is though that
God does love each and every one of us individually and as a whole. We are
showed in the book of John chapter one that:
12- Yet to all who received him, to those who
believed in his name, he gave the right to become
children of God.
So as you can see, if you become a child of
God and accept Christ into your heart that you have eternal life. You will
always have someone to turn to who loves you for you and will accept each and
every one of us for who we are and not what we are. When we accept God in to
our lives we have a bigger family than anyone could ever imagine. A family who
stands together in the good, the bad, and the ugly. Even though we may be an
outcast in our own families in God’s family, He does not believe in outcast.
For when you become a member of God’s family portrait according to chapter
eight of Romans that:
28- In all things good, God works for the good of those who love
Him who have
been called according to his purpose.
To me I truly love the portrait of God’s
family and love that I am a part of it because even though humanistically
people attack us, when you are in God’s family, you are messing with my
Father….something I would not want to do. So why would you want to be a part of
the heavenly Father’s portrait? To enjoy ALL that He has to give you and to be
able to pull up a chair at the table of the father and join the rest of us when
it comes to celebrating our heavenly Father. So I say this to you, if you have
joined or are joining the family of God……I say to you welcome my brother;
welcome my sister…..there will always be room at the table for more.
Remember if you would like a copy of the book

In Christ-
