Hey all. Took yesterday off as it was the Lord's day; hope you all had a great day. Failure...its a word that we all hear quite often-m any of us tend to hear more often than not. The question for today is though, is failure truly final with God ? I have been told me so many more times than not I have failed and thus I have felt like I have failed. I have always felt that failure was my middle name so to say because Satan has always made me feel as if I was a failure at many things. He has made me feel like a failure as a daughter, grand-daughter, sister, friend; he has made me feel like I have been a failure at school, at jobs I have had in the past and present, and even relationships I have been in. The thing is though that I have always been reminded no matter what that I am NOT a failure because I am God's child. The whole story here is that once we become a child of God we fight the battles that sin throws against us. In the book of Romans we are told the following: Romans 7: 19- For what I do is not the good I want to do; no the evil I do not want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--- this I keep on doing 20- Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it. 21- So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. 22- For my inner being I delight in God's law; 23- but I see another law work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. 24- What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25- Thanks be to God ---through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So as you can see that when we become a child of God, Satan wages war on us and reminding us all of our failures BUT the blessed and most glorious thing to know and remember is though that no matter how much or even who Satan uses to tell us that we are failures, God is and always will be there to help fight our battles and to help rescue us from this evil dominion. As long as we accept Christ and follow God in what He wants us to do,we are always under the blood of Christ and have the angels around to help us make it through. My question to you is this ? Are you going to allow Satan to wage war on you and remind you of your failures or are you going to continue on knowing failure is not final with God and only allows for much better to come into your life ? I think I will take the second choice . Remember if you would like a copy of the book the link is on the front of this webpage and contact info to have me speak at your church, school, group or organization can be found there as well. God Bless and Keep you all- In Christ- Marla
