| Joy.....it is something that not everyone in today's society has. All that can be pinpointed is nothing except negativity. Joy however can be truly a smiling satisfaction...one that we all can truly be happy about. Joy is something God tells us all through out scripture that we need to seek, find, and have. If we have no joy what so ever then many see life as something in which is not worth anything....basically they feel as if they just want to give up. I have seen and heard of many being as such and even, I, myself have been to that point. The fact is though that joy is something that one has to dig deep and keep in focus. Joy can't come from anyone other than God the Father. If we wither however and feel Satan trying to take our joy, it is then that we need to fight back. We fight not by ourselves or on our own BUT with God leading the way. God wants none other than for us to seek and find joy. For we are told in Romans: Romans 15: 13- May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We need to rely on God to send the Holy Spirit to fulfill the joy within our lives. I personally would rather let God in to fight this battle (as I ask Him to fight all my battles) because I have truly found that when one has joy in their lives, it makes living this life a lot better. So my question to you today is are you going to let go of the end of your rope and let Satan win by stealing all your joy OR are you going to let God handle things and let the Holy Spirit continue to feel you with the joy and laughter to make it in this life? I decided I would much rather have the joy and laughter than let Satan win this or any other battle I have to go through. I want to have joy....the smiling satisfaction.
