Prayer-Getting through the "lions" of life

Well hello once again all. I hope this finds everyone doing well today. It has been a little nuts here but all is well. Today it seemed like everything hit at once and it got me to thinking and praying which actually led me to the blog I had God lead me to for today which is about prayer.

Praying....a strong word for many and a questionable one for some. It is a tool I have learn to use daily when it comes to living in this world and getting through the "lions of life". God tells us that we are to pray daily and pray without ceasing. Are you a person of fear or a person of faith ?

Greetings again to one and all. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Even with a few minor mishaps this morning, it has been an overall WONDERFUL day for me. I really place a focus upon the blog for today but not as much as I normally do. God brought it to me as I was listening and deciding upon what I wanted to write on today. I feel He led me to this topic because I know that right now times are tough and we are having some uncertain days right now however there is an abundance of reassurance, so the topic for today is this....Are you a person of fear or a person of faith?

When we enter this world we are never told until later in life that things do get a little bit rough. The Ultimate Price

Good Afternoon all. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I apologize for not blogging BUT I did get caught up on some much needed rest after the holidays. Speaking of holidays, I came up with so many different blog topics, I was unsure of which one to do BUT because of God and my secretary/best friend, I was able to choose this one,especially as I continue to think about the holidays.

Materialism is a huge thing in society today as is the love of money. People in society today can only focus on fitting in with the world today and have the best of things such as clothes, houses, electronics, cars, and more. I wonder however if there is people in society today who truly remember who got them to where they are now. Miracles Part 2 - Unanswered Prayers

Well hello again everyone. I hope the day for everyone is going well and you are truly being blessed. Today's blog is coming off of yesterday's as in part one I discussed miracles and that prayer's are truly heard. Today's blog deals with the second part of miracles, unanswered prayers, and faith. I want you to think about this question as you read and then you can answer it at the end of the blog, so lets begin.

How many of you have ever prayed for something from God and How many times have you ever felt that the prayer just went unanswered ? Miracles happen Part 1...Keep praying.

Ok...Today's blog is very brief and goes as such:

Miracles do happen and are still taking place. I ask that you all continue praying and know that even today God still works His blessings upon His own. Please know I will blog more tomorrow about miracles taking place but at this point I am ecstatic and truly just need to absorb this. I know God has much more in store and I am ready. Just totally blown away by His grace and mercy right now. God bless you all and I will have part 2 of miracles tomorrow.

A New Year : The plans God has can be humbling

Well, I am back to blogging as of today. First let me start by wishing each and everyone of you a Happy New Year and saying that I hope and pray each of you had a wonderful holiday season and a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS.

2014 I feel is going to be a good...no a GREAT year. I have had many things happen over the past few months. As I prayed about this God showed me two ways and brought it together. The New Year can bring the plans God has for you which can also come to that of a humbling expense so let me share with you what I truly mean.

Merry Christmas to All and remember the true meaning of this season

Good morning everyone-

I wanted to take a few moments to first off say how sorry I am as I have not been blogging. As you could only imagine, since Thanksgiving it has been crazy. Anyway,with all the hustle and bustle of this holiday season and preparing for doctor's appointments and surgery plus getting ready for Christmas, I run out of time in the day to blog. I do however want to wish each of you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed 2014. My apologies

I want to take a moment and apologize to you all for not blogging much since last Wednesday. I have not truly felt like blogging as I have been worn out these past few days. It may be next week before I will begin blogging again due to this week being doctor's appointments. Thursday brought forth some many answers to questions that we have been wondering about. I found out that I have a tear in my hip that was suppose to be fixed when it was found. Now it is to late to fix it BUT I will not quit NOR will I give up. I then had a doctor's appointment today and one Thursday so its going to be a full week of doctor's and getting ready for Thanksgiving. I am hoping to maybe get back to blogging next week and if not, I will let you all know. Anyway, please continue to keep me in prayer and I will keep you all updated.

Fear Not

So in preparation for today's blog, I have been truly been doing some fighting thus the blog actually developed from the fight I have been having.

Fear....its a word we all know and many of us know it more so than others. It is a nasty four letter word that Satan likes to use upon us and tries to get us to fall to what God actually wants us to do. Today, I have been fighting that nasty four letter word as I prepare to go to the doctor in Kansas City tomorrow. The last two years of my life will be wrapped up in a brief moment tomorrow. For the past two years I have fought with a hip and knee injury that I felt should have been done then but God knew I needed to learn the many things I have learned. Is your faith being shaken not stirred ?

The blog for today came after a friend of mine and I sat and talked about some things last night that I had not come truly to face until now thus after coming to a compromise with it, I felt it would definitely make the blog.

Faith is something that one has to develop in order to keep on believing, but what happens when that faith is shaken and not stirred ? The fact is that usually when a person's faith does get shaken they don't know how to react. I personally have had my faith shaken and not stirred a lot BUT there were two specific times.
