God's Voice- Do you know when its him ?

As I had been sitting here today fighting off the enemy so I could get the blog in for today and after much time in prayer with God about what He wanted for the blog the topic finally came to a head when I heard God say gently..."How close are you truly listening to what I want you to do?" I then turned on one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite movies and "boom" there it was. So today's blog is this : God's Voice- Do you know when its him ?

Is God in all you do - Is God first ?

As I was preparing to do my blog today, I had set on one thing but God moved me to do this one as He had me read through scripture and the one to change it was in Revelations of all books. I love the book but have always had a tough time reading it; that was until now. In Revelation John is the author and writing what Christ wants us to know about how to deal with the sufferings because of how we believe and the preparation of course for His return. Chapter 2 though truly opened my mind and thoughts for today's blog as he is addressing the church of Ephesus. In Chapter 2 : 2-4 we are told the following:

Why we should NEVER give up

Giving up....it seems as if this to some in today's society is a way to go. When things begin to start becoming over whelming the answer that many tend to do or say is "I quit; I'm throwing in the towel." I say many as there are still some however that live to the fact of "NEVER GIVE UP", myself included but one gentleman I can especially pinpoint,lives these three words. The words though to him, myself, and anyone who lives by this philosophy are not just words like they are to many; they are the way of life. So you ask why should we not give up when things become bad? Why should we not throw in the towel when things look bleak ? Well God gives us the answer in 1 Corinthians 2:14. It tells us that "The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned." ... Who do you work for - God or man ?

Work....a word that many in America know about. To some it is a bad word that leaves a foul taste within their mouths; for other's its a word that means they are ready to give up and throw the towel in; for many it is a love more so than their own families; for others its an opportunity to be productive in today's society and finally for most it is the true means of "money"and being able to support a family or one's self. The fact is though work is not just doing an income earning job. Work is anything that a person does to get end results. A job yes is work BUT work also can be seen in stay-at-home wives/mother's as they clean the house and take care of the kids; it can be seen in author's who work diligently and long hours to pull a manuscript together; in missionaries who deliver the word of God to those in their own back door or overseas; the cashier at your local retailer or club wareho ... Soaring on the wings of eagles I am with you always

Many times in our lives we all become very tired and very weak because of the issues we have to face in every day life; issues in which we have a tendency to ask God the questions of "why". Issues that tend to sometimes question our faith and even our belief in God Almighty. Issues that include things such as the loss of a child to illnesses such as cancer to the loss of a job to even attempted date rape with domestic abuse. So how is it that someone could make it through life without going over the deep end ? The saying each person to his or her own is true. How people tend to deal with daily life issues is each individuals own decision but when one feels weak and weary there is always one we can turn to in these times of trials and troubles; valleys and plains....turn to God. The faith of a child

Faith.....a word that we as adults tend to put to the back of our minds as we grow from childhood into adulthood. The daily activity of our lives as we grow tends to over shadow how or what we believe. For example a child that believes in Santa Clause--- trusting the unseen. They know they are to be good all year and then at Christmas --on Christmas morning they will receive their gifts. The faith of which a child has on Christmas is like that of which we as adults have in or are suppose to have in Christ.....trusting the unseen. In John 20 :24-31 Thomas had shown his "adult" attitude for when he had been told that Christ had shown up, Thomas told the others that until he saw actual proof of Christ he would not believe it. Timing

Many times in life when we do something we feel it is God's time or so we think. The fact is though NEVER is it our timing....its all God's timing. I for example wrote the first book thinking it would take off when it was published. The facts I learned however is this : Its never our time....ITS God's time. When the book was written I didn't realize how much this world truly needs to hear of God's love and sacrifice He gave for us all. Just beginning

Well all I finally got myself back together to start working on the book promotion. I have a second book in the works and I am so excited. I guess God has finally showed me its time. I look forward to blogging as I have never really done this but know I will continue to write, show pics, and more. Please continue to read, comment, and enjoy.
