Good afternoon all... To begin let me just say Happy Veterans Day to ALL of those who have served or are serving. Second of all you have seen that I didn't blog yesterday. Like I always do before beginning the blog I prayed and searched out exactly what God wanted me to write about today. We are coming up on two special days :1) Veterans day and 2) The anniversary of the day my Grandfather went home to be with the Lord. The blog today may sound similar to a commercial for the military but you will understand why when its done. As I was praying for what to write upon today there is a song out called " I am not ashamed of the gospel" and the more I continued to pray and seek God's leading on it, the more I continued to think of these words and I ask you all ready this morning are you ashamed of the gospel OR are you ready to be ALL God wants you to be? Society today is a very difficult place to live. We have people trying to tell Washington why prayer should not be allowed....because it "infringes" upon their beliefs. Preparing to write today and upon visiting with my mom, we begin to discuss my niece. God therefore led me to do this particular blog about people with disabilities.My niece is a very special young lady who has gone through a lot in her short thirteen years. When she began school we learned that she had Autism.....a big change for her parents as her older brother had nothing wrong. Well, the moral of this long story is that even though she has what society today has labeled a "learning disability" she is a lot smarter than many people who are normal. As I was praying and preparing to enter the blog for today God kept laying upon my heart a song by the group Avalon.....In not of it. The question I continued to pray was , "How can we tell where we stand in this world? How can we tell if we are in this world but not of it?" The more I kept praying these questions the more God was showing me in how we can truly distinguish if we are in this world and of this world OR if we are in this world but not of it.The first thing I was shown was that of how the people that are in and of this world are. Joy.....it is something that not everyone in today's society has. All that can be pinpointed is nothing except negativity. Joy however can be truly a smiling satisfaction...one that we all can truly be happy about. Joy is something God tells us all through out scripture that we need to seek, find, and have. If we have no joy what so ever then many see life as something in which is not worth anything....basically they feel as if they just want to give up. I have seen and heard of many being as such and even, I, myself have been to that point. The fact is though that joy is something that one has to dig deep and keep in focus. Hey all. Took yesterday off as it was the Lord's day; hope you all had a great day. Failure...its a word that we all hear quite often-m any of us tend to hear more often than not. The question for today is though, is failure truly final with God ? I have been told me so many more times than not I have failed and thus I have felt like I have failed. I have always felt that failure was my middle name so to say because Satan has always made me feel as if I was a failure at many things. As we have officially entered the Christmas season we need to remember that this is truly the season for miracles. Many in today's world does not believe in miracles nor do they believe in miracle workers. "There is no such things as miracles or miracle workers."we hear in the world today; only because of all the evil that has corrupted this world BUT remember that in the book of Matthew that Christ did not do miracles because of the lack of faith (Matthew 13:58). Others say it is impossible for God to do miracles with and through people however in the book of Acts we are shown that it can happen:

Hey all....sorry I am not blogging today. Feeling kind of under the weather with the hip and back plus a lot personally going on. All I ask is that you pray God helps me to get my strength back. Am feeling a little weak so all I am saying is would you please all pray. I know God is the great Physician so I know I will be ok. Will hopefully be back tomorrow. Thanks all!

As I look outside of my window and knowing that today is Halloween, God brings to my mind and heart the reminder that He is the Great Artist and that He is the one who changes the seasons- not just outside but in each and everyone of us. Like that of changing season even we humans have a change in seasons. Don't believe me let me show you as I am a prime example of change. A couple of years ago I held a job at the local Pizza Hut. I was injured as I slid through oil and that begin the change of my season. I hurt my back, hip, and knee and was limited to what I could do. I would then be told I was fine and could go back to work full time. I returned but knew I needed something with better benefits so my season at Pizza Hut was over and my season at Sam's Club began.
